Chocolate Peppermint North Pole Cupcakes

Christmas is officially upon us and I don’t know how that happened!

It’s been a bit quiet around these parts lately mostly because most of the recipes on this site are pretty healthy and basically the exact opposite of what most people are looking for this time of year. So I’m already looking forward to 2018 and kickstarting the year with some good recipes.

However, I couldn’t not post these cupcakes because they are some of my favorite to make this time of year and the decorations are adorable. These North Pole cupcakes have been done a bunch of times but I love them so wanted to post them with my favorite peppermint chocolate cupcakes.

You can use whatever cupcake recipe you want if you just want to go for the North Pole decorations or if you don’t want to do that you can just top these with crushed up candy canes. It’s all totally up to you. They are perfect for any Christmas party or get together you may be going to.

They are also perfect if you have kids around and want to give them something to help with in the kitchen. I’m sure they would love decorating these cupcakes.

If you do try this or any other recipe, let me know! Leave a comment and don’t forget to take a picture and tag it #modernlittlevictories on Instagram! I’d love to hear what you think and see what you create in your kitchen.
