Things I Fancy – February 2017

It’s that time again, friends! A round up of this month’s recipes and as well as some of the things that really took my fancy this month. Unlike January I felt like February pretty much flew by somehow. There’s lots of family birthdays this month including my grandma and her twin brother who turned 94 so it was a busy month with a lot to celebrate! I hope you all had a good month too!

Entertainment

Big Little Lies

Big Little Lies I gushed about this book so much when I wrote the review that of course I had to include it in my favorites. It was dark and twisty and I absolutely could not put this book down. I’ve also been loving the HBO adaptation and I can’t wait to see the rest of the series

Beauty

Amber Oil – I’m sure you’ve probably heard people talking about this lately it seems to be pretty popular as just a simple natural perfume. And for good reason! I have been absolutely loving wearing amber oil in place of regular perfume. It’s sweet and earthy at the same time and I really love it.

Pacifica Sea Foam Facewash I’ve been using this facewash for a while now and I really love it. It’s a foaming wash that is really gentle and smells amazing. I find that my skin feels super smooth afterwards thanks to the papaya extract in it that works as a natural skin softener. It also is made with coconut water for a natural toner that helps balance and cleanse your skin. If you have problem skin like I do I’d recommend trying this out for yourself.

Food & Drink

Halo Top You guys. I was convinced this stuff was going to be too good to be true and that it would actually taste pretty gross(cough looking at you arctic zero cough). Oh how wrong I was. This ice cream is absolutely bonkers. It is so good. All the flavors I have tried have been amazing (birthday cake is probably my favorite). It’s low sugar, high protein deliciousness and even though it’s a bit expensive compared to other brands it is so worth it.
