It’s been a while since I posted a list of the essential oils I’m using most often lately so I figured now was the time to get on it and share a few more of my favorites with you. I’ve been loving blends lately which are great because you get benefits of so many different oils in one little bottle.
Here are my current favorites. I’d love to hear from any of you and what your current favorite oils are.
I’ve been reaching for balance more and more lately and with good reason. It is a grounding blend that helps create a sense of calm. It includes a blend of Spruce, Ho Wood, Frankincense, Chamomile, with fractionated coconut oil. Spruce has been used for years and years for health and spiritual reasons to help bring harmony to both the mind and body. I deal with anxiety* and it is often overwhelming and this blend really does help me settle down. I can absolutely feel a difference when using it.
-Place 3-4 drops on the bottom of your feet to promote feelings of calmness and relaxation throughout the day.
– Apply 3-4 drops on your writs or neck to help ease anxious feelings.
-Diffuse balance to help create a calming environment.
Doterra’s OnGuard is a blend of oils that is used for immunity support. It consists of Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary essential oils for a natural and non-toxic defense for immune support.* I am not at all crazy about clove but I put that aside when it comes to this oil since it is so beneficial. If you’re a person who really loves their hand sanitizer I would really recommend looking into an oil such as this because those can end up being more harmful to your overall health than they are beneficial. OnGuard has a plethora of uses and it can be used topically, aromatically, or internally.
-Combine with fractionated coconut oil as a natural hand cleanser
-Dilute in a spray bottle to clean household surfaces
-Diffuse in a room to eliminate airborne pathogens
-Take 2-3 drops internally to help boost immune support*
Lavender is far and away one of the best essential oils to have in your collection. It is so versatile and can be used for so many things. Even if you aren’t big on oils and using them extensively lavender should be a must have for everyone. Lavender’s claim to fame is it’s extremely calming quality. It is known to help relieve anxious feelings and relieve tension.* I reach for lavender every night before bed to help me sleep better and it works like an absolute dream. Pun intended. It’s also good for to help reduce symptoms from hay fever* and skin irritations.
-Apply to bottoms of feet at bedtime to help you fall asleep.
-Add 2-3 drops to a bath to unwind and distress.
-Apply to wrists and back of ears to help calm emotions/anxiety.
-Apply 1-2 drops on an minor burns or skin irritations to help reduce pain and swelling.
-Apply a drop to your hands and inhale to help reduce hay fever symptoms.

Undiluted oils may cause reactions if you have sensitive skin. If you are using oils topically be sure to make sure you won’t have any reactions to them. If they are too strong for you then use them with a carrier oil (such as fractionated coconut oil) to dilute them. Keep out of reach of children.
