I had a version of this smoothie from a Tea House where I live and instantly fell in love with it but sometimes I just can’t bring myself to shell out five bucks for a smoothie. Especially not when I can make the exact same thing at home for way less than that.
I don’t think it gets any better or easier than smoothies and now that the weather is warming up (thank you, Texas) it’s the perfect time to have them for breakfast. What’s better than chucking a bunch of stuff into a blender and then just drinking it and calling it a meal?
This smoothie is creamy and sweet and will probably most definitely make you dream about being on an island. If you can’t make it to an island though you can at least go drink it outside in the sun and close your eyes and dream of summer if you’re into that sort of thing.
If you do try this recipe, let me know! Leave a comment and don’t forget to take a picture and tag it #modernlittlevictories on Instagram! I’d love to hear what you think and what you create in your kitchen.
